Description: The Division of Student Life at West Virginia University is seeking applications for an Outdoor Education Center Program Coordinator (OEPC) for Adventure WV (AWV). This position is responsible for working with the AWV Associate Director and Adventure WV Director to fulfill the mission, values, and goals of the Adventure WV (AWV) program, in support of the Division of Student Life and West Virginia University. The OEC Program Coordinator assists the Associate Director with the operations and related activities of the Adventure WV Outdoor Education Center (OEC). Specific areas of emphasis for the OEC Program Coordinator are staff development, programs and administration management. He/she will have copies of camper health forms to use as a reference when attending to camper needs. The Health Coordinator keeps a log of all medications distributed, and completes health reports for all other visits. When the Health Coordinator is not addressing health related issues, he/she will help complete miscellaneous tasks around camp. During the camp week, the Health Coordinator is expected to be available by phone and always available for camper needs. Position includes receiving Medication Administration Training. Pay is $290/week for 9 weeks; plus $100(+) end-of-summer bonus. Coordinator Training is May 24-28. Paid weeks include Staff Training (May 31-June 11) and Camper Weeks (June 13-July 31). Counselors stay in a cabin with their campers at night which are separated by gender. Pay is $290/week for 6 or 7 weeks; plus $100(+) end-of-summer bonus.
